From a traditional family bakery in Floriana back in 1946, to the state-of-the-art facility the company currently operates from San Gwann. Golden Harvests has always been at the forefront of Malta’s bread industry. Since its establishment over 70 years ago, the company has always strived to achieve the best possible quality in all of their products, whilst continuously engaging in research and development to produce innovative products for the Maltese market. The company, which is now managed by third generation family members, specializes in bakery items and sweets, while also boasting an ice-cream department and the most recent investment: a gluten-free department. It is the only company in Malta fitted with a tailor-designed, high quality setup to produce gluten-free products in a completely secure environment. To ensure full product safety, the department is equipped with a HEPA filtration system that guarantees full air filtration and eliminates possible airborne wheat particles.

With a workforce of 150 employees, and a fleet of 25 vehicles, it ensures that 70,000 of best quality products are distributed around the Maltese islands, without undermining the best high quality standards of operation.

Golden Harvest also has its bakery shop, situated in the heart of its factory, which came as a natural extension.  The shop boasts the full selection of products produced by Golden Harvest, together with coffee, drinks and salads.  The bakery shop serves as a go to for the employees of the neighboring factories. In its continual commitment to offer gluten free products, the Bakery shops offers a variety of gluten free apple pies or lemon cakes.  The shops accepts POYC vouchers on all gluten free products.
