The company was launched in the spring of 2002, with its first outlet opening that summer which was located in Naxxar. The Attard branch and the central warehouse opened in 2003 and between the years of 2005 and 2008 the company launched 5 more supermarkets around the island. In a short amount of time Scotts Ltd. had already grown substantially, therefore the company thrived. After acquiring the Burmarrad outlet as its first flagship store, the company later on took over a few more. Nowadays, Scotts Supermarket is a competitor on the local market, competing to go from strength to strength as they keep on putting their customers first. Their main focus is the quality of their products and service. The staff at these supermarket chains were chosen for their willingness to go the extra mile for the customer and they have also been trained in food handling, first aid and product knowledge so this information can then be passed on to their customers. In this chain of supermarkets you can find everything you need on a daily basis, if it is just some fresh fruit or vegetables, or if it is just a bag of crisps,Scotts Supermarkets have it all. Scotts Supermarket also offer the online shopping and delivery service. All is delivered fresh, in their temperature controlled vans. You may also email in your order and they will deliver it to your front door. They also have a privilege card that you can apply for and use at any of their outlets. With every purchase you make at one of their outlets you will receive points on your privilege card. These points can then be redeemed for a cash voucher that can be used as you please in any of the participating outlets.
